From late spring to late autumn.
So long absence since April. During this period of no updates, seasons have passed in Nagasaka as the muddy field showed planting of young rice plants and harvesting of richly ripe rice, the Soba field showed seeding - lovely Soba flowers - harvesting of Soba. In our second house, an oxeye nested in our mail box and laid several eggs, and a pheasant walked across the garden. Now, Nagasaka is getting cold day after day towards winter.
"Midori-ko" Pond is known as scenic spot of cherry blossoms. When these photos were taken on 15 April, cherry flowers had already passed their full blossom. The snow-covered mountain in the background of the upper photo is Gongen-dake, a part of Yatsugatake, and the background of the lower photo is Kimpu-san.
