Kugahara Now! --- Spring scenes 2008

One year has passed since the last issue was released on 25 March, 2008.
While nothing special has happened in Kugahara during this period of absence, houses are being dismantled and new houses are being built, or the land are being converted into parking lots.

The most significant news may be;
(1) A new model of train has been introduced to the Ikegami Line,
(2) On the land where Daishin Department Store stood, Tokyu Store and an apartment house have been constructed.

The new train comes into Kugahara Station.
 The new train leaves Kugahara Station for Chidoricho. The willow tree by the Koban (Police Station) has recovered like this.

Tokyu Store will open in mid-April. 		A flower peach and a magnolia kobus (a little difficult to see behind the flower peach) are in full blossom in a house in Kugahara 4-chome. (Photo taken on 22nd March) Cherry flowers in Kugahara are in full blossom.
